Photochromism
It acts as the reversible change in the color when the label is exposed to UV. / Sunlight. It can be incorporated wherever sunlight exposure can play a stimulating role to effect a color change

Hydrochromic (reversible by water)
These labels are used to hide underlying images -which is magically revealed by using water as a stimulating material. Touching the print area with water will make the print change from its white opaque state to a transparent state thereby revealing the underlying image - this will remain as long as the water does not again evaporate,
